I feel like everyone knows I didn't shower this morning. It's all in my hair. I feel it. It lays limp and exposed weighing down my head. And I feel dirt, grime, sweat and other things that I know aren't there, but just assume and associate with dirty people and hair.
and then,
"Wow, _______ you look great today. What did you do with your hair, I love the way its laying."
Ugh.

lol, I've had that before.
ReplyDeleteI'll never forget, when I was in 7th grade, I hadn't taken a shower for more than 2 days, and I felt my hair was so oily and gross. Then my grandparents played a surprise visit, and my grandmother commented my hair, she said it looks so nice and shiny!
Yeah my mom says that, too, and I'm like, eeeeew! I guess it's comforting tto know that at least it doesn't look like it feels...
